Well, hopefully (fingers crossed) this guy not only shows up today, but blows our minds. We need that. We have a lot of momentum on the creative side, but jamming without our own drummer can get to a point where it feels good, but meaningless.
Speaking of, Tim tracked drums for us last week, and they came out pretty sweet. Sean and I are thinking of pushing out these songs as an EP pretty soon. I’m stoked. Sounds like a good idea. Now back to arguing over the perfect cover, lol.
I have been listening to a lot of Far lately, and I have to say that their album “Water and Solutions” is a huge, huge inspiration to me. Amazing stuff. It’s like I can here a part of every band that I have ever liked in their work. Then I come to find out that they have inspired these guys, too. Jimmy Eat World, Deftones, Weezer, Finch, are just a few ingredients needed to make a formula for this album…
