This is just a bunch of words…

“Just keep waiting.

Waiting for what?  I’m not even sure what I’m waiting for anymore.  A sign of what’s pure and true?  A lesson: behave and become what you’re looking for.  Ignore what’s been written and your no longer attached to it.

Am I lost, have I yet to be found?  I have tried all that’s left, do even make a sound?  When I’m showing my heart and my patience’s abound, my screaming is sharp and my faith has drowned.

Give me anything to pick up and believe that promises are golden and friends are real.  I’ll find another place to hide and bury my patience with everything else inside.

I’ll still love the sound of her voice, the comfort she gives.  She provides the absence with the truest of authentecy, and reads my dreams like a book.

The end of this journey never seems near, yet the voices remain and the visions too clear.”

-Christopher Blake  “What’s in My Head?”

Friday is finally here!

So I just realized that I need to really start using a spell checker or at least proof reading my posts. Some of this stuff Is down right embarissing. You know what I mean?

So let’s see where this weekend takes me. I would like to get knock down a few wiskeys and have my new track ready for some vocals, so well have to see. Maybe wine would work better. Well, I guess it’s safe to say I’m drinking something this weekend but I’m not so sure on how productive I’ll be, LOL.

I’m Bored, So…

Lets talk about music.  For starters, what happens to the music that you become obsessed with, but then fades out like a dying glo-worm?  I am thinking that I’m still obsessed…

When Brand New first came out with Deja Entendu, I thought I was seriously going to never be able to move on.  There was also Taking Back Sunday (Tell All Your Friends), Matchbook Romance (Stories and Alibies), Silverstein (Easily Fixed), Finch (What it is to Burn), The Used (The Used), Yellowcard (Ocean Avenue), and a few more.      oh yeah, and Mest :(

Was the market flooded?  Maybe, but with crap.  If the market was flooded, then the good bands stood out. These guys just didnt survive the full run. Taking Back Sunday switched up (though they are still great), Matchbook Romance called it quits, Finch changed, Silverstein got old, The Used TOTALLY sold out, and Yellowcard, well…Yeah they lost it.  Brand New would definitely be the champions of the genre, yet they change it up, but still majorly kick ass.   Oh yeah,  and Mest :(

Since those days I have managed to pick up a few new bands that I could consider Kick ass, like Houston Calls, TREOS, +44, Straylight Run, Hopesfall, Hidden in Plain View, Brandtson and some others.  But really, these guys have already started down the spiral.  TREOS, HIPV,  and Hopesfall have thrown in the towel.  Straylight Run is changing, Brandtson has been very quiet, and Mark Hoppus is way to busy.

I guess I could stick with the Vets and keep pumping NOFX, Rancid, Blink 182, Deftones, Jimmy Eat World, LostProphets, The Offspring, Brand New, Mest, and of course…a few others ;)

I had the glorious chance to record some acoustic drums to my new ProjektKhamelion track with Adam Francois of HollywodFireHabit before he takes up the big move back Jersey. We’lll miss you, bro. We had some good times. Hopefully we will still see you every once and a while.

As for the track, I’m going to put a damn date on it and say I’ll have at least a preview up on my site by the end of next week. I’m stoked. This track is something totally revolutionary for me. Look out.

We are Go!

The all-mighty WebPod is now servicing my mp3 needs for my website.  We are that much closer to my whole master plan, now.    MUHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA…

Up right now is just an unmastered version of Break Me with the new acoustic drums.  Mixed by my friend and engineer, Tim Lemos.  Check it out if you like. (That’s why it’s there)

MUHUHAHAHAHA….

Like, Totally…

HollywoodFireHabit recorded acoustic drum tracks to every song this weekend.  It was a long and drawn out process, but we did it none the less.  The tracks came out amazing, and I can’t wait to polish up the EP “Micro Years” and put it out there for the rest of the world to check out.

We recorded some videos, so I plan to post them up here eventually.  Hang in there… I know your on the edge of your seat…   (Who the hell am I talking to, anyway?)

So here is a couple shots of Adam doing what he does best.

Got iPhone?

I do…

Finally…

The weekend I have waitng for. Yeah, HollywoodFireHabit still seems to be on, but the freaking iPhone come out tomorrow!!! Holy mother load I can’t wait.  I feel like this thing has allready been ruling my life for the last year, and I have not even owned it yet.  Oh, but tomorrow I shal conqure the beast… Oh yes, it will be mine, oh yes, it will.

Adam and I will be banging and pounding away on some acoustic drum tracks Saturday morning, so I will pass along these precious tracks to the rest of the small world ASAP. I am pumped. This time we will have the power of iPhones.  I guess that means we will rock harder. I guess I better have some Redbulls there to chill us out.

I went to polish up one of my tracks tonight, and Reason won’t boot up without the DVD. WTF? Something telling me to not work on my stuff when I actually am ready to really gets to me.  I am having a real shitty day and that didn’t help.  So I can’t continue on ProjektKhamelion tracks until next week.  Next Monday night I’ll try to wrap one up for the sake of being productive.

Other news, Brandtson delayed their album… That just sucks. I was looking forward to hearing something new  from them guys. They really kicks ass. On that note, so did Matchbook Romance. WTF? (I’m Rambling,I know)

HollywoodFireHabit will be once again attempting to join forces and track some acoustic drums this weekend.  Lets just hope it all goes to plan. I am stoked for this.  Bring on the partyness.

3 day left on Mr. iPhone 3G :)

-I finally smiled.
