While my hands are tied and your spirits alive,

It’s in you I confide, I have nowhere to hide.

Underline the Sincerity.

This heartbeat I feel is meant for you.

It’s the bottom of the barrel and I know it’s true.

Underline the Sincerity.

Why can’t you follow you’re heart?

I know it’s so hard to break away.

But you’re so good at pretending everything is all right.

Underline the Sincerity.

You are my hope in disguise. You are my apathy.

You’re like a bottled up message that I never will find.

You have the key to my heart.

You are my permanent high.

Underline the Sincerity.

In this moment, I can promise there is no guarantee

that this count down is long enough to believe

that you’re here in my heart and you’re waiting for me.

And every time I have a vision of you,

I want to tear it apart; I want to feel something new.

When I find out how you consider me game

I’m putting poison in the letters that you spell in your name.

But never mind me, you are the person you are,

How you cut like a knife; how you’re leaving these scars.

Break me incase of an emergency,
I hear you in my sleep, hear you in my sleep
I see us walking through a field of hope and dreams
and waking up to knowing you and I’ll never be
My heart is taking chances you would never believe
I find it hard to let you know it’s killing me
Like circles, I can find myself back where I began
Where hoping you’re alone, you’re alone like you hope I am

-Break
You speak as if you’re so sincere
-Me
Your voice is all I want to hear
-in case
Take me into your heart once more
-of an
Where I was all you’d ever need
-Emergency

Your name is like a bridge built to take me away
Your face is now an image I could never escape
So vivid I can almost taste you lips as you speak
And feel your heart upon me through the pulse it creates

-Break
You speak as if you’re so sincere
-Me
Your voice is all I want to hear
-in case
Take me into your heart once more
-of an
Where I was all you’d ever need
-Emergency

I’ll take my chances wishing you
Take time to feel the way I do
This is the state of consequence
When you’re bottled up in this

What a boring Superbowl.  I only call it boring because of the horrible officiating towards the end of the game.  I say no touchdown, and for sure no fumble.  Not that I was really pulling for either team to win, I just wanted some overtime so that I could enjoy another beer before going to bed to prepare for returning back to the routine of the Monday through Friday week.

Not too much progress on the new band was made this weekend, so maybe I can make up for it this week.  Maybe record some vocals for an acoustic song to put up here on the site.

HollywoodFireHabit was at work this weekend to a track and made some progress. This EP is going to be nice. Just wait and see. (Like you have a choice or something, right)  ;)

Houston Calls responded to an email of mine this week about their upcoming show here in Orlando. That was really cool. When I told them I was bringing my daughter they seemed to endorse the idea. (Just don’t be all cussin’ and smoking and talking about getting shottyfaced and layed, allright guys?) LOL

Take a Chance…

on Possibility is done! We mixed 1 and mastered 2 songs today. Credit goes to Tim Lemos for the most awesome job on recording drums and mixing/mastering the songs for us. The finished versions of “Break Me” and “Take a Chance will be up on the various websites by the end of the weekend. Tim will have a website soon enough.

The hardest part of the whole thing was trying to get the vocals just right. The drums are amazing and the guitars are ridiculous. You’ll see what I mean. Hopefully the album will be for sale on the other various websites soon. Hopefully by February. MicroYears is right on its heels. We just need Adam to fly down to rerecord a few tracks. (an pay a much needed visit to The Lodge)

MicroYears is underway…

Adam sent me a project of melodies that he had started for a new HollywoodFireHabit (or HFH, Kim :) )song last night. I spent about an hour on it, and then had to give it a rest for the night.  Now, thinking back to the track, I have a million ideas for a direction the song should go. I am seriously pumped about this projekt, so I am going to take the most serious approach to it as possible.

I am off to start mixing some more of our first EP, “An accident Waiting to Happen” this weekend with my homeboy, Tim Lemos. Maybe I can get some more info on that guy up on my website sometime soon ;) Look out for more HollywoodFireHabit updates this weekend.

Dance kiddies, Dance!

Adam just sent me a demo for a new HollywoodFireHabit song tonight. It will be incredible. I am way, way, way excited for this. With this next EP, we are going to go back to our dance vibe… It will be Legend-wait for it…..

Dairy.

So I got to track a few layers for guitars on “Break Me” tonight, so that we could move on with that track. Now we should be into the remixing of another song.  The fun part is that I get to learn Adam’s guitar part for “Just as Fragile” because Tim the tool man Taylor said so.  The damn engineer before him really sucked at tracking guitars, apatently. LOL.

ProjektKhamelion needs some help.  I think that I need a producer or something to help me complete all my songs.  Creating the material is the easy part.  Pulling it all together is another story all together. Maybe I’ll find myself completing something eventually.  I’m kind of getting tired of doing everything halfway.

Though, I am the king of procrastination.   Remember that.  Write it down. (or just remember it)  I need to write a new song.   I’m tired of all my old ones.   Ok, well goodnight;)

I had the glorious chance to record some acoustic drums to my new ProjektKhamelion track with Adam Francois of HollywodFireHabit before he takes up the big move back Jersey. We’lll miss you, bro. We had some good times. Hopefully we will still see you every once and a while.

As for the track, I’m going to put a damn date on it and say I’ll have at least a preview up on my site by the end of next week. I’m stoked. This track is something totally revolutionary for me. Look out.

We are Go!

The all-mighty WebPod is now servicing my mp3 needs for my website.  We are that much closer to my whole master plan, now.    MUHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA…

Up right now is just an unmastered version of Break Me with the new acoustic drums.  Mixed by my friend and engineer, Tim Lemos.  Check it out if you like. (That’s why it’s there)

MUHUHAHAHAHA….

Like, Totally…

HollywoodFireHabit recorded acoustic drum tracks to every song this weekend.  It was a long and drawn out process, but we did it none the less.  The tracks came out amazing, and I can’t wait to polish up the EP “Micro Years” and put it out there for the rest of the world to check out.

We recorded some videos, so I plan to post them up here eventually.  Hang in there… I know your on the edge of your seat…   (Who the hell am I talking to, anyway?)

So here is a couple shots of Adam doing what he does best.
