So, Taking Back Sunday have announced their return to the original line up? This is going to be my most anticipated album of all time. (Besides my own, of course). I am really interested in what their sound will evolve into, but I don’t think that there is anything to worry about. We are talking about some magnificent songwriters here…
John Nolan’s songwriting and original vocal structures are my favorite ingredient of “Tell all Your Friends” and damn near half of “Where you want to be”. I am assuming that TBS will return to their dual vocal melody and light synth roots… Only time can tell, now. Their seems to be quite a bit of internet animosity toward the choice of their next producer, (a return to the producer of “Louder Now”) but I see no worries. Sure, the album was way more produced than their previous efforts, but it definitely grew on me. If they bring the right material to the table, we will get back back the right album… Elementary, dear Watson. (Killer Movie, BTW).
So, the bottom line is, I want my “Tell all your Friends” tour!!! Bring it on! I am sooooo excited about this…

Where to start… An idol of mine, Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, has passed away. This guy made pop cool.
I feel sorry for his family. From his children to his sisters and brothers. I have always had mad respect for this guy, though everything that has plagued him in his career, and I will continue to respect this master of pop music. Of course, Pop will never be the same.
I very distinctly remember my father keeping me up past my bedtime on December 2, 1983 to watch the world premiere of the Thriller video. I know that that very experience only added to my fat-chanced dream of becoming a rockstar someday. I believe that Michael Jackson will live on forever, just as other greats such as John Lennon or Elvis Presley. I am sure that there will be a lot of MJ appreciation to follow this very sad day in history. Farewell, hero to the world of music. You are a legend. You are a king.
