Where to start… An idol of mine, Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, has passed away. This guy made pop cool.
I feel sorry for his family. From his children to his sisters and brothers. I have always had mad respect for this guy, though everything that has plagued him in his career, and I will continue to respect this master of pop music. Of course, Pop will never be the same.

I very distinctly remember my father keeping me up past my bedtime on December 2, 1983 to watch the world premiere of the Thriller video. I know that that very experience only added to my fat-chanced dream of becoming a rockstar someday. I believe that Michael Jackson will live on forever, just as other greats such as John Lennon or Elvis Presley. I am sure that there will be a lot of MJ appreciation to follow this very sad day in history. Farewell, hero to the world of music. You are a legend. You are a king.

I know that it has been a while, and I have been slacking. Yeah, it really has been lack of motivation. That and being at the end of the flu season where everyone in the family seems to pass it back forth to each other like we are all playing catch.
Sean and I are calling the band “The Fury of Beautiful Bones” for now. We like it a lot, but seem to get a lot of “it’s too long”. Well, until we figure out something else it is sticking. It is a poem by Anne Sexton, and it is amazing. Read it. You’ll see.
Today we are auditioning our fourth drummer. This guy is going to have to be pretty bad ass, considering the last guy we auditioned was sick. He was like taking the drummer from Pantera and having him drum for U2. (I may be over exaggerating a bit, as I am sometimes a drama queen)
We have four songs down and plan to record as soon as we have our drummer. I’ll keep you posted, dear blog I promise. This blog is my calendar of events. “Keep a calendar, this way you will always know.” -FOB
Yes. Click the last link… It is sooooooooo good.
